Bio/Research Interests
Ann’s research interests include the intersectionality of climate, environmental, racial, and gender justice. Prior to starting the master’s program, Ann worked as a Senior Research Analyst at an environmental and economic consulting firm in Cambridge, MA. After graduating, Ann hopes to find impactful work in the private sector or public policy realm.

Emil Kee-TuiMSc in Applied Economics & Policy AnalysisExpected Graduation Date: May 2021
Bio/Research Interests
Emil is interested in institutional economics, particularly how it effects economic development for households. He grew up in Zimbabwe and prior to coming to the University of Arizona earned a BA in Economics, with a minor in Mathematics, from Colby College. Emil plans to pursue a PhD with the goal of working in international development.

Laura McCannMSc in Applied Economics & Policy AnalysisExpected Graduation Date: May 2021
Bio/Research Interests
Laura is interested in mixed methods research that drives decision making, specifically with respect to the impacts of race, class, and gender on public policy. Before her graduate studies at UA, she studied Environmental Science and Russian at the University of Florida and later worked as a program evaluation manager in Chicago. After completing her MSc, she hopes to pursue a PhD and work in public policy.

Brian McGrealAccelerated Master's Program GraduateExpected Graduation Date: May 2021
Bio/Research Interests
Growing up in Los Angeles during periods of drought throughout California, Brian developed a keen interest in water use and its effects on the environment and local economies. In addition to his BS in Environmental & Water Resource Economics, Brian is working towards an MSc as part of the Accelerated Master's Program. He plans to pursue a PhD in applied economics after completing his MSc.
